Jimmy Barker
Jimmy L. Barker, 46, of Wellington, Florida, was held at the federal penitentiary in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. He was hurt in an altercation there and died at a local hospital in early August 2015. Federal officials said the cause of death would be determined after an autopsy, and the FBI investigated the assault. In February 2024, his cellmate was sentenced in federal court for voluntary manslaughter, and the cellmate has said Barker attacked him first.
