Jimmie Singree
Jimmie Singree died in April 2023. According to the Alaska ACLU, citing his family, he was taken to a hospital while in Department of Corrections custody, and he was brain dead and kept alive in hopes of donating his organs. His family says the department released him from custody while he lay dying. The department did not report his death.
