Jhett Henderson
Jhett Henderson, 38, of Kearney, died on April 22, 2025, after being held at the Buffalo County Jail, where he was held before trial. The Buffalo County Sheriff's Office said he was found unresponsive in his cell and taken to CHI Health Good Samaritan, where he was pronounced dead. The sheriff's office asked the South Central Area Law Enforcement Services to investigate, and the county attorney requested an autopsy. The cause and manner of his death have not been determined.
