Jesus Perdomo
Jesus Perdomo, 25, died on December 6, 2017, after collapsing inside the Pretrial Detention Center, the Miami-Dade County Jail, in Miami. The Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office and a search warrant affidavit say he died of a fentanyl overdose from a batch of the drug that also killed another person held at the jail and hospitalized two others that day. A grand jury later indicted two other people held there for murder in his death under a new Florida law covering fentanyl supply.
