Jesus Octavio Rodriguez, 25, of San Pablo, died at San Francisco County Jail No. 5 in San Bruno on May 28, 2017. The sheriff's department said he was found unresponsive in his cell around 7:15 a.m. and that jail health staff and San Bruno firefighters attempted CPR and defibrillation. The San Francisco sheriff's department and the San Mateo County coroner's office are investigating, and officials said they saw no obvious signs of foul play.
