Jessie Bannerman
Jessie Bannerman, 66, was held at Blackwater River Correctional Facility in Santa Rosa County, Florida, and died on April 16, 2020, as a patient in a hospital. The Florida Department of Health listed coronavirus (COVID-19) as the cause of death, and the Florida Department of Corrections recorded the manner of death as natural. Bannerman was one of four people from the prison who died of the virus that spring.
