Jessica Stroup
Jessica Stroup was 25. Her mother said she was always giving and 'shared everything that she had,' and friends described her as funny, warm, and a friend to many in Cincinnati. She died at the Hamilton County Justice Center on November 30, 2019, four days after she was admitted there. According to the Cincinnati Enquirer, a corrections officer found her dead in her cell early that morning, after she did not show up for a scheduled withdrawal treatment appointment. The Hamilton County Coroner's Office has not yet declared a cause of death, the jail is investigating, and her family and friends are demanding answers.
