Jessica McManis
Jessica McManis, 40, died on March 12, 2025, while in the custody of the Greene County Sheriff's Office. The sheriff's office said she had been held since the Monday before and had made a medical request that morning. While being moved from her housing unit for evaluation, she became unresponsive and was taken by CoxHealth EMS to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The sheriff's office said preliminary autopsy findings showed no signs of foul play and that the investigation is continuing.
