Jessica Marie Chandler, a woman from Johnson City, was held at the Washington County Detention Center in Jonesborough, Tennessee, when she died on July 27, 2025. She was found unresponsive in her cell and taken to a local hospital, where she later died. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said her body was sent for an autopsy and that foul play is not suspected.
