Jesse J. Arvizo
Jesse J. Arvizo, 27, died on April 23, 2017, while held at the Arizona State Prison Complex - Lewis. The Arizona Department of Corrections said he was found unresponsive in his housing unit and that the death appeared to be an act of self-harm. Prison staff began lifesaving measures until paramedics arrived, according to the department. The department said the county medical examiner's office assists in investigating deaths of people held in its custody.
