Jerry Robert Wisdom
Jerry Robert Wisdom, 55, died on March 30, 2023, at the Columbia County Detention Center, where he was held. The Columbia County Sheriff's Office said deputies found him unresponsive in his cell that evening. The coroner pronounced him dead, and the sheriff's office said no foul play is suspected and that his body would be sent to the GBI for an autopsy. The cause and manner of his death are still pending.
