Jerry Lynn Acklin
Jerry Lynn Acklin, 58, was from Fayetteville, Tennessee, and was being held in federal custody at the Morgan County jail in Decatur, Alabama. In March 2020 he became ill with stomach pain and internal bleeding, and he died at Decatur Morgan Hospital on the afternoon of March 14. The sheriff's office said he likely had an underlying medical condition and showed no signs of COVID-19. An autopsy was planned to determine the cause.
