Jerome Scott
Jerome Scott, 40, died on February 12, 2015, at Columbia Correctional Institution in Portage, Wisconsin, a state prison where he was held. The Columbia County Sheriff's Office said an autopsy found he died of ligature strangulation and classified the death as a homicide. The office said his cellmate was implicated, and one report said the cellmate was cooperating with investigators. A woman who was shot in a 2010 incident involving Scott said she felt sorry for him and his family and that he did not deserve to die.
