Jerome Brudos
Jerome Brudos, 67, died on March 28, 2006, at the Oregon State Penitentiary, where he had been held since June 1969. He worked as an orderly and made handicraft projects in the prison hobby shop, and once described his daily routine by saying one day was like another. The state Department of Corrections said in a news release that he died of natural causes. State officials reported no dispute about the cause of death.
