Jeremy Williams, 42, was executed by lethal injection by the State of Alabama at Holman Correctional Facility in Atmore on August 13, 2026. Media witnesses reported that the process took about 20 minutes, beginning with the reading of his death warrant. On the gurney, he said he wanted to thank God for forgiving him so that he could meet God in peace, and a member of his family cried quietly throughout. Alabama officials said he was pronounced dead at 6:16 p.m. Central time.
