Died in jail or a lockup
Jeremy Scott Howell
Jeremy Scott Howell, 28, of Hot Springs, died while held at the Garland County jail in December 2019, with the death reported on December 20. The Garland County Sheriff's Office identified him publicly on December 26. According to one report, he was found unresponsive a few hours after he was booked into the jail, and the sheriff's office said the cause of death is under investigation and that it would conduct an internal review.
