Jeremiah Mathis
Jeremiah Mathis, a 36-year-old man from Atlanta, died on June 15, 2018, while held at the Fulton County Sheriff's Office North Annex jail in Alpharetta. He was taken to North Fulton Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Alpharetta Department of Public Safety spokesperson Officer Howard Miller said the death was a suicide, and police said no foul play is suspected. The Alpharetta police and the sheriff's office are investigating the death.
