Jeremiah Hardwell
Jeremiah Hardwell, 29, died in July 2023 while held at the Twin Towers jail in Los Angeles. According to an inspector general's report, his cellmate suffocated him. The report found that the two men were not a compatible match for housing together, and it raised questions about how cell assignments were made.
