Died in prison
Jensy Janelle Mendoza
Jensy Janelle Mendoza, 33, died on June 18, 2020, while held at the Secure Female Facility Hazelton, a federal prison in Bruceton Mills, West Virginia. According to a Department of Justice news release, staff found her unresponsive that morning, began lifesaving measures and requested EMS, and EMS personnel pronounced her dead. The Department said there were no indications her death was related to COVID-19 and that no other people were hurt. No cause of death has been reported.
