Jeffrey Williams
Jeffrey Williams, 53, of Raeford, died on July 20, 2020, while held at the Cumberland County jail in North Carolina. The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office said he was found unresponsive in his single-person cell on a Monday afternoon and was pronounced dead. The sheriff's office said the investigation is ongoing and that the North Carolina Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death. The cause and manner of his death are pending.
