Jeffrey Glanda
Jeffrey Glanda, 69, was a former court reporter for Essex County who lived in Lake Placid and was well known in the Elizabethtown and Lake Placid communities. He died on Wednesday, August 14, 2019, at Green Haven Correctional Facility in Stormville, Dutchess County, New York, where he was held. The state Department of Corrections and Community Supervision said there was no indication of wrongdoing or foul play, and that he was pronounced dead just before 9 a.m. after emergency medical attention. The Dutchess County Medical Examiner's Office has not yet released the cause of death.
