Jeffrey Fetterhoff
Jeffrey Fetterhoff, 23, struggled with schizoaffective disorder and was devoted to his three younger foster sisters. He loved playing the guitar and writing songs, and his mother, Amanda Cullum, described him as "very, very kind-hearted." He died at the Tulsa Municipal Jail in October 2025. His mother's wrongful death lawsuit says he told a detention officer about his mental illness and a recent suicide attempt when he was booked, yet he was placed alone in a cell with a wall-mounted phone and cord, and was found unresponsive with the cord around his neck two days later. The suit alleges staff failed to intervene or monitor the cell camera and names the private contractor Allied Universal Security Services, the jail administrator and a detention officer, and Allied Universal and the City of Tulsa did not respond to requests for comment.
