Jeffrey Ferrell
Jeffrey Ferrell, 49, was held at the Shelby County Jail at 201 Poplar in Shelby County, Tennessee, when he collapsed while playing basketball on August 19, 2019. He was taken to Regional One, where he was pronounced dead. According to an autopsy reported by The Commercial Appeal, the cause of death was atherosclerotic and hypertensive cardiovascular disease. The autopsy also raised the possibility of heat stroke.
