Jeffrey D. Nottestad
Jeffrey R. Nottestad, 57, of Hixton, Minnesota, died at the La Crosse County Jail in La Crosse, Wisconsin, on February 4, 2025. Jail staff found him in his cell that morning, shortly after speaking with him. The La Crosse County Sheriff's Office said he appeared to have died from previous medical issues. A La Crosse Police Department investigation, including an autopsy, concluded that he died of natural causes and that no foul play was suspected. One account listed the manner of his death as pending.
