Jeff Curry
Jeff Curry, a Black man, worked at the Blue Creek mines a few miles from Birmingham, Alabama. A Fort Worth newspaper dispatch says he died instantly and that the men who shot him escaped. Both accounts describe the killing as a lynching; one says the officers were overpowered.
