Jasper Rowsey
Jasper Rowsey was one of seven brothers. According to a brief 1898 account, he was taken from the jail in Stanford, Lincoln County, Kentucky, and hanged by a mob in 1864. The report gives no further details about the killing, the people involved, or whether the jailer or officers resisted or handed him over.
