Jason Hicks
Jason Hicks, 42, was held at the Mecklenburg County Detention Center in uptown Charlotte, North Carolina, when he had a medical emergency early on December 26, 2025. He was taken by EMS to Atrium Health Main, where he was pronounced dead that evening. The Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office has not released a cause of death, and the N.C. State Bureau of Investigation is investigating while the medical examiner determines how he died.
