Jason Boston
Jason Boston, 27, died on May 3, 2002, in a fire at the Mitchell County jail in Bakersville, North Carolina. He was one of eight men who died in the blaze. Mitchell County Sheriff Ken Fox said the men died of smoke inhalation, and the cause of the fire had not been determined. Residents of the close-knit town left flowers near the burned building.
