Jarvis Butts
Jarvis Butts, 43, died on March 26, 2026, in his cell at the Charles Egeler Reception and Guidance Center in Jackson, Michigan, a state prison, where he was held. Michigan State Police and the Michigan Department of Corrections said his death was an apparent suicide. Prison guards attempted lifesaving measures, but he could not be revived. The State Police are investigating the death.
