Jannette Price, 44, died on September 9, 2020, inside her cell at the Tarrant County jail in Fort Worth, Texas. According to the Tarrant County Sheriff's Office, deputies and JPS Hospital medical staff responded to her, and efforts to save her were unsuccessful. The sheriff's office and the medical examiner's records list the manner of death as pending, and no official cause has been determined. The Texas Rangers have joined the investigation.
