Jamie McMahan
Jamie McMahan, 42, died on Monday, November 13, 2017, in his cell at the federal prison ADX Florence. Todd Chapman, public information officer for the federal complex in Florence, said the death was an apparent suicide and that the FBI had been notified. Chapman's account is that staff began life-saving measures before emergency medical services arrived, and McMahan was pronounced dead at 10:30 a.m. The Canon City Daily Record reported that he was found unresponsive in his cell that morning.
