James Williams
James Williams, 53, died on December 11, 2015, while held at Central Prison in Raleigh, North Carolina, according to the state Department of Public Safety. The department said he had been hospitalized inside the prison for several weeks before he died. The department said he died of natural causes. A North Carolina Department of Adult Correction list of people removed from death row records his death on the same date, and the UCLA Law Behind Bars data project records it as well.
