James Warren Knight
James Warren Knight, 41, of Dripping Springs, died on August 17, 2022, after a medical emergency while held at the Hays County Jail in Texas. According to the Hays County Sheriff's Office, medical staff saw him and took him to a local hospital, where treatment did not save him. The sheriff's office said its preliminary investigation showed no foul play, while the autopsy results were still pending and the Texas Rangers were investigating. The state attorney general's custodial death report lists the same date and facility but gives no cause or manner of death.
