James Robertson, 63, was executed by lethal injection at Florida State Prison near Starke on October 13, 2026, according to the Florida Department of Corrections, which said he was pronounced dead at 12:32 p.m. Sources report that he had visits from a cousin and a pen pal in his final hours, and a witness said he lifted his head and smiled at the witnesses.
