James Powers
James Arthur Powers, 77, was held at the Ellis Unit in Huntsville, Texas, and was hospitalized there on May 5, 2020. He died on May 10, 2020 at Hospital Galveston, where he had been taken while in state custody. KWTX reported that the state listed him among people who died of COVID-19, and that he had been diagnosed with the disease before he died.
