James P. Denaway, 41, grew up in the Topeka area and worked as an electrician, according to an obituary submitted to The News Sun. He died on February 1, 2016, while held at the LaGrange County Jail in LaGrange, Indiana. The LaGrange County coroner determined he died of asphyxiation, and the Indiana State Police said foul play was ruled out.
