James Lester
James J. Lester, 39, of Owensboro, was brought to the Daviess County Detention Center in April 2017. According to KFVS12, about three hours after arriving he became ill, was taken to an area hospital, and was pronounced dead on arrival. Kentucky State Police are investigating, and the cause of death has not been stated in the reporting. A second record of the death, from a national custody-death project, lists the cause as unknown.
