James K. Boggan, 68, was held at South Mississippi Correctional Institution when he died, according to the Mississippi Department of Corrections, which announced his death. He was pronounced dead at a hospital in Vicksburg. The department said an autopsy is scheduled, and the cause and manner of his death have not yet been determined.
