James Ingerson
James Ingerson, 54, of Hartford, Vermont, died on April 5, 2025, while held at Northern State Correctional Facility in Newport. Vermont State Police said he had reported not feeling well and was receiving care for a medical issue. His cellmate found him unresponsive, and he was pronounced dead at 9:54 a.m. Police said the death does not appear suspicious, and the Vermont Chief Medical Examiner's Office will perform an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.
