James Edward Gore

74 years old · Washington County Detention Center, Washington County, Arkansas

James Edward Gore was 74 and lived in Farmington, Arkansas. According to the Washington County Sheriff's Department, he stopped breathing while being moved from the Washington County Detention Center to an ambulance. A later court filing by his attorney described a tumor removal, progressive dementia and cognitive decline, and said he could no longer communicate, and a judge had agreed to lower his bond so he could be released to hospice care. The Arkansas State Police will investigate the death.
