Executed
James E. Harvey
James E. Harvey was hanged as a judicial execution at Carrollton, Georgia, on June 6, 1882, according to a short Narragansett Herald item from June 10 of that year. A Farmer and Mechanic item of June 7 reported a condemned prisoner named Moon, who had earlier attempted suicide, hanged at Carrollton the same day, and it is possible both accounts describe the same execution.
