James Cain, 40, was held at the State Correctional Institution at Forest in Marienville, Pennsylvania. The Pennsylvania Department of Corrections says he was found unresponsive in his cell on July 11, 2026, and he was pronounced dead at 10:48 p.m. The Pennsylvania State Police will investigate, and the Forest County Coroner's Office will determine the cause of death.
