James Allen Brown
James Allen Brown, 54, died on February 10, 2020, at the hospital at the Mississippi State Penitentiary at Parchman, where he was held in state custody. The Mississippi Department of Corrections identified him. Sunflower County coroner Heather Burton said he had been receiving treatment for a terminal illness in the prison's inpatient department and that no foul play is suspected. The cause and manner of his death remain pending an autopsy.
