Jamarr Thompson
Jamarr Thompson, 33, died on December 6, 2021, at USP Florence, a federal prison in Florence, Colorado, where he had been held since March. The Bureau of Prisons said he died in an altercation with another inmate. Staff responded around 2:30 p.m. and began lifesaving measures, but emergency medical crews pronounced him dead, and the other man in the fight was treated for minor injuries. The Denver Post reported that his death was the third killing of an inmate in a U.S. federal prison within a month.
