Jamarcus Dawkins
Jamarcus Dawkins was 18 years old and from Columbia. He died on May 11, 2018, while held at Kirkland Correctional Institution in Richland County, South Carolina. WACH reported that he was found unresponsive in his cell, and that EMS took him to Palmetto Health Richland Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Authorities have said they think he died by suicide, and the Richland County Coroner's investigation into the cause and manner of death is still open.
