Jake Freeman
Jake Freeman was a police officer who had worked with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department since 2017, most recently in its community policing division. He was booked into the Henderson Detention Center early on December 31, 2023, and released on bail that evening. The Clark County coroner's office said he was pronounced dead at a residence at 9:30 p.m. that night and ruled his death a suicide.
