Jah'Corey D. Tyson
Jah'Corey D. Tyson, 23, died on December 17, 2016, in his cell at the DeKalb County jail in Georgia. Authorities said he was strangled by another person held in the jail. His mother, Cassandra Tyson, said guards ignored his cries for help while he was being attacked, and said the family was outraged by his death. Family members said the attacker also gouged out his eyes with a sharpened toothbrush, and the jail is still investigating how the death happened.
