Ja’derius Marion
Ja'derius Marion was 21 and was held at the Lee County Jail in Mississippi. According to Lee County Sheriff Jim Johnson, another person held at the jail alerted detention officers on February 2, 2024, that Marion was in medical distress, and officers found him in that condition. He was taken by ambulance to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead early on February 3. The cause of death has not been stated, and the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation was notified and an autopsy was to be performed.
