Jacob Kober, 35, of Bakersfield, was held at Kern Valley State Prison in Delano, California, where he was found unresponsive with serious injuries in his cell on September 19, 2024. The Kern County coroner said he died of multiple stab and incised stab wounds and ruled the manner a homicide.
