Died in jail or a lockup
Jacob D. Cochran
Jacob D. Cochran, 26, of Ironton, died at the Lawrence County Jail in Ohio on June 26, 2023. The Lawrence County Sheriff's Department said he was found unresponsive early that morning and was pronounced dead at a local hospital. The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation is looking into the cause of death, and his body was sent to Montgomery County for an autopsy. The cause and manner of his death have not yet been determined.
